Yes, there is another model of this medal, with arabic inscriptions and cedar on the reverse side, probably after the independance of Lebanon. I'am sorry, I just have a bad picture of it :

Our friend Contoutos found me some months ago this medal of the customs of the LEVANT with Arabic legend.

It seems much rarer than that in French legend.
But who knows the time(period) of creation of this variant and the date about which it would have stopped being distributed?
