Here we have two variations of the medals of the Alpine Western Front of 21 to 24 June 1940 (year 18 of the fascist era).

Our both bambini being little calmed I try to continue.
Here are two items still illustrated but what I found with ribbon.
In the middle a badge for the attack of the mountain Chenaillet.

The white and red ribbon is that of the commemorative medal of the campaign of Italy for 1859.
The green ribbon is that in Italy of the alpine troops.

Hello to everybody,



I’ve to admit that this is a great idea: to try to make a “catalogue” of the Italian medals & insignia related to the Battle of the Alps. I’ve to apologize for taking so long to post some items. You have to know that I’ve not at all an organized collection. I’m use to buy and put in boxes the items I got.

It’s really not easy to locate where are the medals & insignia I need for scanning.



Herewith my contribution, some of the medals was posted already but … better two images than no one ! For sure I’ve more medals related to the Battle of the Alps, but I’ve to find them .........
