This is a private made medal not an official issue. This is authorized in France as far as they cannot be confused with official orders and decorations. The period is around the 50s -70s but some still exist.

Normally they cannot be worn in public but only during the meetings of these private societies which award its members with medals (generally after payment or donation).

From my personal point of view, these medals are rubbish or bullshit. But they could have an interest for collectors of curious French things.

It's not my interest. But such things sometimes come across to us and all of us break heads about their purpose.
Especially, when there is no any attributes.
