I noticed that there seems to be the BATFRA title in use in Afghanistan at least with yellow and red border. Is the colour for company or is there other meaning?
Does anyone have the whole set to show us?

BATFRA was the bataillon francais. It was the french force in Kaboul in Warehouse camp. In october 2009, the batfra went to the TORA base in Surobi and the other bataillon in Kapisa. So the two bataillons was changed into GTIA (groupement tactique interarmes like task force) SUROBI for the Batfra and Kapisa for the other. After in december the name changed again into GTIA1 (Kapisa) and GTIA2 (Surobi) under the responsability of the french brigade TF La Fayette (in the order of 82° Airborne division).

I forgot : the color is for the company. If it is the last BATFRA it was the 3rd company of the 2°REI (TF DRAGON)

The 2 REI began in Afghanistan as BATFRA and finished as GTIA SUROBI (Antoine said it before).

And the legionnaires changed on their jacket the badges (always grey for CCL, red => 2ième Cie, yellow => 3ième Cie, or green = 4ième Cie).

Are there any other insignias used by Legion in Afghanistan that I should know about?

The legionnaires of the 2 REP are wearing ALTOR tabs.
You can see one ALTOR badge on last KEPI BLANC magazine (n° 722 page 43)
