| Bonjour a tous,
Can anyone tell me the correct medal entitlement to a Legionnaire who fought in the 1st gulf war, there seems to be some confusion as to what degree of the kuwait medail was awarded, 3rd or 4th class.

as far as I have understood it is the 4th class, at least that is the version I have seen in photos of legionnaires wearing.

one moderator of this english speaking collectors forum http://gmic.co.uk/ , his name is Chris Boonzaier, is an ancien legionnaire 2. REI who served in the Gulf war 1991.
But I can remember that once he told me that he/the legionnaires got the lowest class.
The officers got one higher class.
You can ask him.
