Bonjour a tous , As there already was a discussion about foreign parawings under the subject Brazilian Jungle School insignias, I create a link in here and want to continue about the matter: http://www.forum-insignes-medailles.net/non-french-badges-f87/brazilian-jungle-school-brevet-t12779.htm Enclosed a photo shoving a member of th 2e REP wearing Italian metal parawing while training with Italian paras near Pisa in the early 90's. Obviously the wing was only worn during the celebration while being quests of the Italians. Does anyone have photos of legionnaires wearing other foreign insignias? Cordialement, Harri

An ancien REP man answered me, that it was not allowed to wear foreign wings. Only some officers are. Here you have a very seldom picture of it.

Hello Harri ! it's true , I just see at Calvi seldom Officers wearing cloth version of foreign Parawings (german , british or belgian) , generally they were sewn on their dress before they joined the Regiment. Personnaly I have worn just one day the metallic wings of Central Africa but that "fantaisie" was not really appreciated by Colonel !
