Bonjour a tous,
I just saw some "purified", model 1957 Knight's Crosses of the Iron Cross in the collection of my friend.
While talking about the subject we both had to admit that neither of us had ever seen any photo evidences of such item been in use by soldiers of the Bundeswehr. Meaning naturally soldiers who fought in 3.Reich and received this Order and later served in the Bundeswehr.
Does anyone have any photos showing this order in use since late 50´s?

In 1984 Wolfgang Hartelt left the Bundeswehr in the rank of a colonel. He was the last Knigt´s cross wearer who left the Bundeswehr.
