Few years ago I was in correspondence with a British dealer who insisted that brevet de Nageur de Reconnaissance du 2e REP is not official and is never worn in uniforms. In this edited photo from 90's we can see clearly visible the brevet in the brest of a member of the 2e REP on leave and other interesting feature from my point of wiew is that he also wears the brevet Transmission sans Fil in his epoulette.
