Can anyone identify this patch seen in the KB magazine no 714 (octobre -09). This soldier belongs to 2e REI but what is the patch in his chest?
It doesn't seem to be the French flag and my guess about the colours is: (from left to right) red/green/blue.
It looks like those British para Drop Zone Flashes which is peculiar from my point of wiew.

for me, the colours of the French flag belong the white of which was
camouflaged in green
it is sure that the green sees himself less than the white and in the
situation of battle, it is better to see that to be seen!!!

hello,
it is the new patch for the french troops in afghanistan .
the white of the flag is black in the day ,but white in the night whit the "intensification light" glasses , the american patch is the same system.
