What is this pocket badge worn by a Legion NCO???



What is this strange version of BMP worn by a caporal of 2e REP?? Or maybe it is a joke? It is worn in a big party in Camp Rafalli in early 90's.


What qualification badge might be here between medals and fourragere? Sorry, but the originl picture is already a bad one so I couldn't get any better print than this.

merci à l'Ecossais , c'est exactement cet insigne que portait au REP quelques personnels de l'Infirmerie régimentaire ou infirmiers de compagnie.

I agree with ecossais, those things under the badge really looks like a pair of saws. Thats why I thought the badge is some sort of a joke.
Any chance getting more information about those Secourisme-insignias, in English this time, please.
Can anyone present all possible insignias worn by Legion infirmiers?

Were the infirmiers trained by civilian staff or by military medical staff. If by military medical staff, did the instructors wear the tabs in their uniforms ,it is mentioned being unofficial and civil insignia in previous messages?

Are there anyother civil insignias carried in military uniforms?

I do not think it is new brevet by any means as the photo has been taken in early 90's and obviously it would be well known by now.
I am quite convinced that there are crossed saws (scies) behind the BMP and it was made by the soldier himself as a statement or a joke.
Here is another picture of a selfmade insignia seen in the beret of a photo of KB magazine. Or what do you think of the badge, is it self made? I don't know.
I have never seen this model with off-centered "bomb", which naturally proves nothing as there still are thousands of things haven't seen yet. Therefore I joined the FIM to learn all about Legion insignias, and some other French insignias as well.... and medals... and to have nice conversations with people who enjoy and collect insignias like myself.
